Description

Alphatier L-Arginine L-Citrulline Mix Powder

The arginine-citrulline mix powder contains high-dose L-citrulline malate, in an ideal 2:1 ratio, combined with L-arginine. Highly dosed powder with 5 g L-citrulline DL-malate and 5 g L-arginine per daily portion (10 g powder). Premium quality - without additives and developed by nutritionists. The amino acids arginine and citrulline are often taken as a training booster before a workout.

Why should you combine L-Arginine with L-Citrulline?

Arginine and citrulline are among the most popular sports supplements. Both act as precursors to nitric oxide (NO). The messenger substance has vasodilating properties and plays an important role in regulating the width of blood vessels. While arginine serves as a direct precursor to nitric oxide, citrulline is first converted to L-arginine. Both amino acids have the same effect. With citrulline, however, the effect is delayed due to the conversion step. A combination of both amino acids can prolong and support the function of Arginine.

Glycine powder
Package size: 500 g
Nutri+ Glycine Powder Glycine is one of the semi-essential amino acids and plays an important role in building the body's own protein. As a protein building block, glycine has numerous functions in our body. For example, the amino acid is B. for the formation of the red blood pigment hemoglobin, creatine (important for the energy supply of the muscles) or DNA. Glycine is also an essential component of the structural protein collagen and is therefore a building block for skin, connective tissue, bones, tendons and cartilage. The - for fat digestion – indispensable bile acid also contains glycine. In addition, glycine acts as an inhibitory (inhibiting or calming) neurotransmitter in the nervous system and is a building block of glutathione, an important endogenous antioxidant. Glycine is also used for medicinal purposes - e.g. B. as a component of choline to support liver function. What is Glycine for? The amino acid is a true all-rounder and a popular dietary supplement for athletes, people with a weak immune system, liver diseases, arthrosis or sleep disorders. For our Glycine powder we use pure vegan glycine from fermentative production. Without genetic engineering and free of animal components. The glycine powder has a pleasantly sweet taste and is easy to stir into water or other drinks. A daily portion of powder (1 scoop) corresponds to 5 g of pure Glycine. Laboratory-tested quality and highest purity – without additions! This product should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Take care of a healthy lifestyle. Sport Essentials - Vital substances for athletes
If you want to get the most out of your sport, you need to make sure you have the right nutrition. The best possible supply of nutrients is a decisive factor for strength, endurance and speed and at least as important as the training itself. Both amateur and competitive athletes have an increased need for certain vitamins and minerals as a result of their regular athletic activity. By covering this additional requirement, the optimal performance capability can be ensured and regeneration and resistance of the body can be promoted in the best possible way. Nutri-Plus Sport Essentials has been specially developed for these special needs. Some ingredients of Nutri-Plus Sport Essentials and their functions in detail: L-Leucine L-Leucine is a branched chain amino acid (BCAA) and is essential for the body. A large number of studies indicate that leucine is a trigger for muscle protein synthesis. Since leucine is mainly found in dairy products, vegans in particular should pay special attention to this amino acid. Calcium + Vitamin D Calcium is the main component of our bones. In the event of a deficiency (such as can occur when sweating heavily), the body draws on its own reserves – the bones. This can lead to bone fragility. Calcium contributes to normal energy metabolism. Vitamin D fosters the absorption of calcium from food and the incorporation of calcium into the bones. Especially in the cold season, the body's own production of vitamin D is often insufficient. Magnesium Without magnesium, the body would not be able to move a single muscle. It is essential for muscle contraction and an important component of our bones. Magnesium is excreted in sweat, which can lead to muscle cramps during physical activity. Athletes must therefore always make sure they have a sufficient supply of magnesium. Magnesium contributes to normal energy metabolism and muscle function. Vitamin E Vitamin E (tocopherol) is an essential nutrient that the body cannot produce itself. It protects unsaturated fatty acids in cell walls from attacks by free radicals and thus prevents cell damage. It can also regenerate used vitamin C into its original form. During sporting activity, additional free radicals are produced. Athletes must therefore make sure that they take in additional vitamin E. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of the cells against oxidative stress. Vitamin C Vitamin C is a natural, essential antioxidant that scavenges free radicals and renders them harmless. It is particularly effective in combination with vitamin E. As more free radicals are produced due to the increased metabolic rate during sporting activity, athletes must ensure that they take in sufficient vitamin C. Vitamin C contributes to normal immune system function during and after intense physical training. Iron Iron is responsible for the formation of the red blood cells and, as a component of hemoglobin, for the transport of oxygen. Since iron is lost through sweat, athletes have an increased need for this mineral. Iron contributes to the normal formation of erythrocytes and haemoglobin as well as to normal oxygen transport in the body. Vitamin B complex The group of B vitamins includes 8 vitamins that play a crucial role in most metabolic processes. Folic acid and vitamin B12 are needed for the formation of red blood cells, while pantothenic acid is involved in fat breakdown and protein synthesis. B vitamins contribute to a normal energy metabolism, vitamin B6 to a normal protein and glycogen metabolism. Even in ancient Rome, a healthy body was associated with a healthy mind. Even today, the fact that physical exercise is essential for a healthy life is undisputed. Regular training is one of the most effective ways to increase health, well-being and performance. In addition to the cardiovascular system and the bones, the immune system and blood vessels are also strengthened. Exercise helps prevent diseases such as diabetes or high blood pressure and is even said to increase mental performance. Furthermore, physical activity promotes stress reduction and is thus not only good for the body and mind, but also for the soul. In order to make the most of the positive effects of physical exercise, it is important not to train beyond one's limit and to allow the body sufficient recovery phases. Only if the body has enough time to regenerate and replenish its reserves can it perform at its best. Those who often push themselves to the limit in popular or competitive sports should therefore ensure an optimal supply of energy and nutrients in order to promote endurance, strength and the ability of their muscles to regenerate as well as muscle development. Due to the greater load and the associated higher energy supply, athletes should pay attention to a sufficient supply of vitamins B1, B2 and niacin, as these are involved in the energy metabolism of the body. During training, free radicals are formed in the metabolism, which is why an adequate supply of vitamins C and E should be ensured. These vitamins belong to the so-called antioxidants and can render free radicals harmless. In addition to vitamins, a sufficient supply of minerals and trace elements must also be taken into account, as these are increasingly excreted with sweat. For example, about 70 mg of calcium and 10 mg of magnesium as well as trace elements such as iron and zinc are lost per litre of sweat. These should be replenished after training to achieve an optimal training effect. The minerals calcium and magnesium, for example, are necessary for functioning muscle and nerve activity. Typical symptoms of a too low magnesium intake are muscle cramps. An insufficient supply of iron - as a component of red blood pigment responsible for oxygen transport - can also reduce physical performance. DGE Report (Sport and Nutrition): "The daily requirement of some vitamins, minerals and trace elements (beta-carotene, vitamins C and E, B-complex, magnesium, zinc, iron) is increased in athletes because, on the one hand, they are excreted more via sweat, urine and possibly faeces and, on the other hand, they are needed more due to the increased formation of free radicals." This product should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Take care of a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and out of the reach of children. Pregnant and nursing women should consult a physician before taking any supplements.

Ecdysterone Ultrapure Capsules
Ecdysterone is a steroid hormone that occurs naturally in animals and plants - such as spinach. While the substance controls moulting in molluscs (e.g. crustaceans), there are some studies that have shown an anabolic effect in humans. However, in order to achieve positive effects in the field of sports, you would have to consume very large amounts of spinach every day. That's why we use cyanotis arachnoidea extract in our capsules, as it consists of almost 95% pure beta-ecdysterone. Just one capsule provides you with 245 mg of beta-ecdysterone and therefore brings the necessary power into your workout! A german study by Isenmann et al. (2019) with 46 young men showed how strength athletes can benefit from taking ecdysterone: Supplementation led to more power on the bench press as well as an increase in muscle mass. Our Ecdysterone Ultrapure Caps are made without artificial colours, flavours, preservatives and sweeteners. They are free from gluten and soy and purely plant-based (without lactose, milk protein or other animal ingredients). The ecdysterone capsules are developed in Germany by our nutritionists according to the strictest quality standards (IFS and GMP). This product should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Take care of a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and out of the reach of children. Pregnant and nursing women should consult a physician before taking any Supplements.

Beta-Alanine Powder
Package size: 500 g
What is Beta-Alanine? Beta-alanine (also spelled β-alanine) is a non-essential amino acid that in humans is formed in the liver and is also found in animal products such as meat as well as fish. Primarily, beta-alanine is needed for the synthesis of carnosine. The dipeptide is synthesized in skeletal muscle from the two amino acids beta-alanine as well as L-histidine and is found primarily in muscle tissue in high concentrations. For the synthesis of carnosine, L-histidine is usually present in our body in significantly larger amounts than beta alanine. This imbalance between the two amino acids makes beta-alanine the limiting factor in carnosine formation. Supplementation with beta-alanine can therefore be very effective in filling carnosine stores in muscle cells. Beta-Alanine Effect: How does Beta-Alanine work? The actual effect of beta-alanine results from the formation of the dipeptide carnosine. Carnosine plays an important role in regulating the pH in the muscle through so-called hydrogen ions. In simpler terms, buffering the hydrogen ions prevents the pH in the muscle from dropping and the muscle from becoming over-acidified. The result is a drop in performance, since ATP (=energy) can be produced less effectively in an acidic environment. Various studies show that supplementation with β-alanine increases the carnosine content of the muscles. The higher the carnosine content, the higher the buffering capacity of the muscles. The muscle does not overacidify and physical performance during high-intensity exercise is improved. In this regard, studies have shown improvements in performance lasting more than 60 seconds. Although beta-alanine does not improve maximum strength or maximum oxygen uptake, it may affect some aspects of endurance performance such as time to exhaustion. Here's what you should consider when taking beta-alanine Before training, 2.5 g of beta-alanine powder should be taken. To achieve an optimal effect, you should take the product daily over a longer period of time (several weeks). Since the powder is tasteless, you can also stir it into other supplement drinks that you also take before training. Taking creatine at the same time promises synergistic effects. Why does it tingle when taking beta-alanine? Shortly after ingestion, beta-alanine may cause a tingling sensation under the skin. This physical reaction is absolutely normal and harmless. It is a stimulation of the nerve endings and is not an indication of whether beta-alanine is working or not. After 1 to 2 weeks of regular use, the tingling sensation is significantly reduced or no longer felt.     Artioli GG et al (2010): Role of β-alanine supplementation on muscle carnosine and exercise performance.
