L-carnitine plays an important role in energy metabolism. It is responsible for long-chain fatty acids passing from the cytosol into the mitochondrion (the so-called power plants of the cells) and thus the fats can be used for energy production.

Chemically, L-carnitine is a β-hydroxy-γ-trimethyl-aminobutyric acid. It can be formed in the body from the two amino acids lysine and methionine with the help of various nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin B6, iron and niacin, or it can be ingested with food. In humans, L-carnitine is found in almost all tissues and body fluids. About 80% of L-carnitine is present in the skeletal muscle, and a large amount is also found in heart muscle.

Für mich ist das ein tolles Produkt, dass ich schon seit einem Jahr regelmässig vor dem Training nehme. Ich würde nicht mehr darauf verzichten. In der Einnahme / Handhabung empfinde ich es einfacher als in Kapselform.

Der erste Eindruck passt. Feines weißes pulver, ich gebe es zu einem Getränk mit Geschmack, ansonsten riecht und schmeckt es neutral.
