St John's wort (Hipericum perforatum) is a plant species from the genus St John's wort (Hypericum). There are around 400 different Hypericum species worldwide. It has a variety of natural ingredients such as hypericins, phloroglucins (especially hyperforin), flavonoids, tannins and essential oils.

Each daily serving of 3 capsules contains 1500 mg of St John's wort extract (8-10:1), which corresponds to 12,000-15,000 mg of St John's wort, as well as a hypericin content of 4.5 mg.
