Pea and rice protein in many delicious flavours

Our popular Nutri-Plus Pea-Rice Protein is available in many delicious flavours! Whether chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut, cappuccino or neutral - we have a wide selection of different flavours.

Pea and rice protein: a combination of pea and rice

We have developed our pea rice protein especially for people who suffer from an intolerance to soya or gluten. It is therefore gluten- and soya-free and also contains no sugar, preservatives, aspartame or colourings. In contrast to other protein powders made from peas and rice, it is not sandy and therefore impresses with its delicious flavour.

The combination of pea and rice provides the body with an optimal supply of all essential amino acids. This results in a higher biological value of the proteins and thus leads to great results in muscle building.

Pea protein

Pea protein is particularly popular due to its good digestibility.

It has a high protein content and contains the essential, branched-chain amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine in an optimal 2:1:1 ratio. The essential amino acid lysine is also present in large quantities

.

Leucine in particular is the most effective amino acid when it comes to muscle protein synthesis and also supports regeneration.

However, the two amino acids cysteine and methionine are only present in small amounts. It is therefore beneficial to combine pea protein with another protein source such as rice protein

.

Rice protein

Rice protein has the best digestibility of all known protein sources

.

It has a high protein content and is particularly rich in the two amino acids methionine and cysteine, which are only present in very small quantities in pea protein.

Methionine and cysteine are among the sulphur-containing amino acids that strengthen the immune system and protect the body and cells from free radicals. They therefore have an anti-inflammatory effect. They are also important cartilage-building substances and are particularly abundant in nails and hair.

In comparison, the amino acid lysine is only present in very small quantities, which is why a combination with pea protein is particularly important.
