Transparency Matters to Us

The PETA-Approved program is one of the world's strictest certification programs for cruelty-free and vegan products. Companies that meet the respective requirements are allowed to use the corresponding PETA-Approved seals. The German PETA-Approved program is the counterpart to the internationally known "Beauty Without Bunnies" program by PETA USA. It gives consumers reliable guidance and helps them identify cruelty-free and vegan products at a glance.

Companies that meet the requirements of the PETA-Approved program may – depending on certification – use the corresponding PETA logos. There are two seals:

PETA-Approved Vegan

The PETA-Approved Vegan seal confirms that our products contain no animal-derived ingredients and are 100% vegan.

PETA-Approved Global Animal Test Policy

This seal confirms that neither our finished products nor their ingredients are tested on animals. These requirements also apply to our suppliers and business partners. Since our entire range is both vegan and cruelty-free, we are allowed to use both PETA-Approved logos.

To be allowed to use the PETA-Approved seals, we underwent an extensive review process. This process included a detailed questionnaire as well as a binding statement of assurance.

In it, we confirmed that neither we ourselves nor our suppliers conduct, commission, fund, or permit animal testing – neither for our finished products nor for individual ingredients or formulations.

After successful review and fulfillment of all requirements, we received the PETA-Approved certification and are allowed to use both PETA seals for nutri+.
