Vegan cinnamon buns with apple and almond filling

Preparation


Preparation time: 1 hour (incl. baking time)

Preparation for the dough:

  1. Mix the flour, protein powder, FlaveDrops, dry yeast and 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon with the almond milk in a bowl, cover and leave the dough to rise for approx. 20 minutes. Then knead the dough thoroughly and roll out thinly on a floured work surface.

Preparation for the filling:

  1. Cut the apple and almonds into small pieces and mix with a little cinnamon and erythritol. Spread the filling over the pastry and roll up carefully. Then cut the roll into equal-sized pieces
  2. . Now line a baking dish with baking paper and spread the cinnamon buns, bake for approx. 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees convection oven. If you like, you can mix a icing of icing sugar and water and spread it over the cinnamon buns while they are still warm. Leave to cool and enjoy.
