Gorilla Burger

Preparation

Makes 4 gorilla burgers

  1. Soak the rice flakes in 200 ml water for approx. 10 minutes. Finely blend the red beans, squeeze out the excess water from the rice flakes and fold into the beans. Finely dice the onions and fold in too.
  2. Put the spices together in a mortar and grind. Finally, add the oil and mix.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties of the same size and rub both sides with the spices. Fry in a pan with olive oil until crispy brown.
    1. Peel the ginger and puree together with the peanut butter, spices and lemon juice using a hand blender. Finally, season with salt and pepper to taste.
    1. Slice the onion, halve the banana and fry both on both sides until crispy.
    2. Slice the bread rolls and briefly toast the cut surface in the pan without adding any fat.
    3. Slice the tomato. Spread the peanut sauce on the buns, then place the lamb's lettuce, tomato, pattie, banana and onion on top.
    4. Don't forget the top half of the bun and enjoy.

1 tsp salt, paprika powder, oregano
1/2 tsp black pepper, mustard seeds
1/2 tsp sugar (or Xucker)
